Under the Civil Works Manager’s supervision, the Structural & Civil Engineer will ensure all technical civil works tasks required by the EPC, EPCM or basic engineering project. It includes foundations, Buildings (concrete and steel structures), Pipe racks, Tanks, Earthworks, Roads, Sewage...
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the E&I Manager, you will be responsible for the design, coordination, and technical follow-up of electrical and instrumentation installations on our EPC, EPCM, or basic engineering projects. Your scope will cover low and medium voltage electrical systems, motor control, power distribution, instrumentation, PLCs, and industrial control systems.
Your Responsibilities
· Project Coordination & Communication
o Act as the main point of contact between DSEC, clients, engineering offices, and E&I subcontractors.
o Ensure smooth collaboration between all stakeholders to guarantee technical alignment and project execution within schedule.
· Technical Design & Documentation
o Develop technical specifications and tender documents for electrical and instrumentation systems.
o Define and review cable routing, single-line diagrams, loop diagrams, and instrumentation architecture.
o Specify electrical and instrumentation equipment (switchboards, transformers, field instruments, PLCs, DCS...).
· Engineering Follow-up & Validation
o Supervise engineering studies carried out by subcontractors or external engineering firms.
o Validate technical documentation, including drawings, calculation notes, and technical data sheets, ensuring compliance with international standards (IEC, ATEX, IEEE…).
o Follow up on factory acceptance tests (FAT) for critical equipment.
· Project Execution & Site Support
o Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems on site.
o Perform technical troubleshooting and provide support for problem resolution during construction and commissioning phases.
o Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during installation and operation.
· Budget & Planning
o Monitor and track project milestones for E&I activities.
o Assist in budget estimation and cost control for electrical and instrumentation scopes.

Experience
At least 5 to 10 years’ experience in engineering or industry (agro industrial sectors of sugar, vegetable oils, biofuels, agrochemical or biomass)
with the responsibilities described in the “Main tasks and responsibilities” paragraph (above) during at least 3 to 5 years
Education:
Master’s degree in electrical engineering, instrumentation, or a related field.
